Success Stories - Pioneer

Pioneer launched a dynamic new Web site, "GrowingPoint," in the Fourth Quarter of 2000. GrowingPoint is a Java/JSP Web site that provides a common, object-model interface to four legacy database systems at Pioneer.

ABC Virtual was responsible for the software architecture design, the object model development and implementation, the implementation of a unified Object Repository layer that can be leveraged in a wide range of Java enterprise applications and provided all the supporting Java servlets and dynamic JSPs for this GrowingPoint project.

In addition, ABC Virtual has been instrumental in the mentoring of Pioneer personnel in the use of J2EE technology.  This project received the 2001 Innovation Award at Pioneer for its significant contribution.
